Dr. Dressler is a licensed psychiatrist & an esteemed Jungian analyst providing individual psychotherapy to adults ages forty and above. He currently works from his home in Roxbury, Connecticut. Garnering over five decades of hands-on experience, he works closely in the areas of Jungian psychology, psychotherapy, life coaching, clinical supervision, life transitions, spiritual guidance, and more. Dr. Dressler completed his medical training at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1964. Upon graduation, he served his internship at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center in 1965, followed by his residency in psychiatry at Strong Memorial Hospital in 1968. He then served his fellowship within the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine and was invited to join the faculty where he was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry from 1969 to 1973, publishing 25 academic papers.
